The Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. The Thanksgiving celebration was created to give our youth a traditional family Thanksgiving setting. Many of them have never had the experience of sitting down to a special Thanksgiving meal with family.  (At the most recent Thanksgiving Dinner, one of the young men expressed that he was truly thankful for having the coaches in his life, because they are like father figures to many of the boys, and he felt blessed to have them in his life.)  During this special time of celebration, the youth host a special program and then top it off with the ultimate traditional thanksgiving dinner inclusive of turkey, dressing, and all the trimmings.  And do they ever have the time of their lives?!  For many of them, this will be the best meal that they get during the holiday season.
